The Icelandic Dance Sport Federation – DSI- was founded on 18th of May 2000.

DSI is the governing body of the dance sport in Iceland. The Federation has responsibility for the administration and development of the dance sport in Iceland. The Icelandic Dance Sport Federation - DSI is affiliated to IDSF, the International Dance Sport Federation.

There are about 3200 people registered members of the 10. Dance clubs in Iceland. All these clubs are very active and take regularly part in open tournaments. Dance is the 10. biggest Sport in Iceland.
